Students planning to apply to university in the U.S. often need to take the SAT exam, a standardized test run by the College Board.  Our SAT prep courses give students the help they need to do well on the exam by introducing both the content found on the exam and techniques for tackling each type of question.

Our course

  • Group or individual tuition
  • Sixteen hours of intensive group tutorials or twelve hours of individual tuition
  • Two graded SAT pre- and post-course examinations (self-invigilated) and score reports
  • Six hours of graded homework
  • Greene’s SAT course workbooks covering Mathematics, Critical Reading and Writing
  • Greene’s Online final course report, and online reports after each test and seminar

Group course dates

We run courses throughout the year, mid-week, at the weekends and during school holidays.  Please find course dates for 2014 here.  We also offer summer courses, details of which can be found here.

Individual tuition

Students are welcome to take the course on a one-to-one basis either in Oxford or online; these sessions are arranged to suit your schedule. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Our tutors

Being in the heart of Oxford, many of our tutors are Oxford doctoral and Master’s degree candidates. Many of our tutors are American with first-hand experience of the American education system and the SAT examination. Tutors undergo training when they join Greene’s, which continues throughout their time with us. However, all of our tutors are individuals with a range of different experiences and teaching styles, which allows us to carefully match students to tutors.
