Our courses

Greene’s individual college counselling courses for U.S. university entrance are designed to guide you through the entire U.S. university application process, from initial research to filing your application. The U.S. university application process often takes several months and requires careful and thorough advanced planning.

We offer two courses of college counselling dependent upon each student’s particular needs. For students who need comprehensive support, we recommend our comprehensive course which covers all of the topics listed below. For students who already have a good understanding of how the application process works, or need targeted help with particular parts of the application process, we offer our six hour supplementary courses which focuses on whichever area of the process in which the student needs particular support.

A one hour discussion on American colleges and universities and the application process. Students will leave this session understanding the components of a U.S. application and with a timeline relevant to their particular circumstances. Students will also receive guidance on making or refining their list of colleges and universities matching their requirements. £75 via Skype or in-person
Exploring your options
and making a list
This course is ideal for students in Year 11 and beyond who are considering applying to U.S. universities but who need some help navigating the 3000+ institutions in the U.S. Working one-to-one with a tutor, students will learn about different types of colleges and universities in the U.S. and will make a comprehensive list of colleges and universities matching their requirements. For students and parents planning on visiting colleges and universities in the U.S. prior to making an application, advice on which universities to visit can also be given.£500 for 6 hour course
(Thereafter £75 per hour)
Essays
(Personal statements, supplementary and scholarship essays)
This course is perfect for students who need additional help and support with their personal statements (either the Common App or individual university applications), supplementary or scholarship essays. Students will receive guidance on beginning their essays or editorial help with essays already begun. £500 for 6 hour course
Fully managed
application
Includes:
  • exploring your options and making a list,
  • personal statements and supplementary essays,
  • filling out and submitting the Common App
£1,700 for a fully managed application
